The Lake County Chambers of Commerce will hold its annual meeting in conjunction with the Lake County Business Expo. A breakfast, featuring local customer service guru Dick Blake, will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tickets are $25 each. Order tickets here.

Dick Blake brings etiquette to chamber breakfast
Dick blake will return to Holiday Inn & Suites - LaMalfa Centre November 8th as the featured speaker for the annual Lake County Chambers of Commerce breakfast held this year in conjunction with the Lake County Business Expo.
Blake, professional coach, etiquette expert, ballroom dance instructor, development trainer, teacher and actor, has conducted in-service programs in manufacturing, service, hospitality, professional and health care industries.
In Lake County he has trained employees of LaMalfa, Molinari's restaurant in Mentor and Gavi's restaurant in Willoughby. He also has conducted training sessions at Great Lakes Mall, Jenniffer & Co., and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and has spoken to students at Auburn Career and Thomas W. Harvey High School.

Nancy Valent, NMV Strategies, LLC, will speak about “Protecting Your Image and Your Brand .” She provides consultation in marketing, branding, communications and public relations challenges for companies seeking to build, manage and/or recapture their industry leadership positions. When she was at Avery Dennison, a multibillion-dollar corporation, Nancy spearheaded the brand development campaign for North and South America. Most recently she was chief marketing officer for Proforma, a 600-office international franchise organization. She also has lived through the handling of plant explosions, chemical spills, gas leaks, company espionage and disgruntled employees and helped companies weather the media frenzy without compromise. She has trained more than 100 executives and middle managers in critical steps to take when a crisis develops and the reporters are knocking on the door. |
